The September Issues

septissue

Ahhh, the September Issues are here and I'm already thinking about dusting of my shearling ankle boots! Seriously 2011 has to be the fastest year known to man, right?

Anyway, here are this months magazine freebies minus Marie Claire with it's wonderful free Ciate nail polishes but the freebie info is at the end of this post!

First up Red magazine (£3.80) with a choice of two Balance Me body washes worth £8 each. The choice is either the Rose Otto Body wash above, which actually won the best new bath and body product in this year's CEW Awards or the super moisturising body wash.

I've only used this once so far but as a lover of all things natural I like it... however I'm not too sure of the scent which smells a bit too gingery for my liking. But SLS-free products are always welcome in my bathroom.

As for this months Elle magazine (£3.80) the freebie is a choice of three Mavala nail polishes worth whatever the price of a Mavala polish costs! The shades are - The Elle Red, The Elle grey and The Elle Orange.

They aren't amazing shade (though I do love a dove grey) but the formulation is wonderful, just so easy to apply, especially in a rush like I did here. Also this months Elle contains 378 pages, of course half are ads but this is a weighty one as they do like their September issues over at Elle!

As for Marie Claire (£3.60) which is out today 4th August, the freebie is a choice of two Ciate nail polishes worth £9 each. I'm not sure of the shade names but one is a pretty nude shade and the other is a dark two-tone looking purple.

Also with the free Asda Magazine this month there is a voucher for £1 off any magazine over £3.00 valid until the end of the month! So I think I will be lured into buying Marie Claire next week.. I mean it would be rude not to at that price.

So which magazine(s) will you be buying this month?

Also out of curiosity what is your favourite magazine to read?

I am a Marie Claire subscriber and I have received the Sept issue, and as a subscriber you don't get the Cialte nail varnish- you get a travel size Dove conditioner instead #fail
Oooo I may be buying all of these! Great post Fee! x
I want Red magazine and also Elle. I'm not too sure about Marie Claire, because as MsBubu26 above - I already have too many nail polishes! Thanks for the Asda voucher info -- will be definiately using it! :) X

I picked up Marie Claire today for the Ciate nail polish and Dove conditioner. I would have picked up Elle but two magazines is so expensive, one is enough! I then noticed that my mum has the red Elle Mavala polish already so I'm not too fussed now!
You're so right about 2011 going fast, I can't even remember half of it haha. I'll definitely be getting Elle, the polish looks such good quality :) I love when you do these posts!x
I subscribe to Elle and love the free polish for its formula too. I got the red one in my issue although I think I would have preferred the grey.
Elle is my favourite glossy and is one I do read (I really should subscribe to it but I keep waiting for a good subscription gift!). Vogue is 2nd and Marie Claire is 3rd choice
We got Elle at work yesterday and I managed to get the nail varnish! Got in there first... hehe.
I'm SO glad I found your blog, I love finding new beauty/fashion blogs for me to read and no joke I spent a solid 2 hours reading yours!. I love it!.

I've been behind the online beauty community for 4 years now and finally i've started my own blog, so a nice welcome from anyone would be appreciated.

Can't wait to read your future posts :).
i bought marie claire the day it was first released.can you tell i was so excited?it's amazing.i got the nude ciate nail polish.i was so surprised to see it had a free dove conditioner too.i was smiling like lunatic.i know i sound such a loserright now but for a beauty junkie who loves any beauty products it felt like christmas.hahaha.i loe glamour mag too especially their beauty pages.glamour mag definately has the BEST BEAUTY PAGES out of all the glossies.
I was going to get Red just for the body wash then decided against it.
Since you're interested in SLS free products, did you know that they put SLS in mascara too? I just discovered that one of my mascaras contained it. And so close to the eyes too! http://lovefromeden.blogspot.com/2011/08/sls-in-m...
hmmm favourite magazine to read.... are magazines even readable anymore? Most of the pages are ads or pictures :P So I much prefer to read blogs.
