For my 'higher' priced Christmas gift guide I could have gone for a £20 or £30 budget but as I'm a savvy shopper by nature I decided to showcase some of the amazing gift sets and items you can pick up for only £15 or under.
This may have been my favourite guide to put together as all the gifts here don't look cheap and there are many luxury brand names here such as - Paul & Joe, Nuxe and Burberry to name but a few! Of course you may have more of a budget than £15 per friend or family member but this guide just goes to show that a lot doesn't need to be spent to give someone something special. I really hope you enjoy this one!
Under £15 High Street Beauty Buys
Soap & Glory Once Upon A Lime Gift Set (£10 Boots)
With the Sugar Crush scent from S&G being one of my favourite scents EVER I had to include this amazing set in this gift guide... and because the talented people at Soap & Glory have somehow managed to create a glittery box that doesn't transfer onto everything in a 2 metre radius - I'm impressed! If you are new to the Sugar Crush scent then I sneakily recommend you have a sniff of one of the full size products in store because it's just amazing - think sugary, fizzy fresh limes. Included in this bargain set is - Sugar Crush Body Wash (75ml), Body Scrub (my fav!) (50ml), Body Buttercream (50ml), Hand Food (50ml) and a large pink shower puff. Amazing value for 5 mini products and the gorgeous box!
Maybelline Dare To Go Nude Set (half price £7.50 Tesco or £10.50 ASOS)
A good quality makeup set will always go down well with a beauty lover and one of my favourite affordable ones this year is this nude toned Maybelline set that contains 4 full size products which offers a good saving than if you were to buy the products separately. I also feel there's no 'dud' products in the set and the nude theme is safe yet on-trend. Included in the set - Color Tattoo in Creamy Beige, Brow Drama Transparent, Nude Color Sensational Lipstick in Tantalising Taupe and Color Show Nail Polish in Latte. You can also find a few other fab Maybelline sets in both Tesco and ASOS for a similar price.
Kiko Angel Kiss Set in Cranberry Crumble (£11.90 Kiko stores)
Can we take a moment to just marvel at this gorgeous gift set, please? Kiko is one of my favourite makeup brands and this year they have excelled with their gift range. I selected this wonderful set due to it containing a lip scrub, as other than Lush (which I'm not a fan of - too crumbly) there really aren't any on the high street. Also I really was impressed with the price of this set as it looks quite the luxury gift. In the Angel Kiss Set range there are 4 different scents/shades all with different names but Cranberry Crumble is my favourite as the scent is just divine and the Kiss Balm lip balm is a lovely berry shade. If you are near a KIKO store when Christmas shopping you really must go in and see this range for yourself and all the other beautiful gift sets.
China Glaze Mini Mixers (£14.99 Sally)
China Glaze know how to do Christmas nail sets well and each year I have to pick up a new set to try out and enjoy over the festive period. My set of choice this year is this mini set of 6 ultra festive shades that consist of 3 glitters, 2 shimmers and 1 creme nail polish... hence why they are named mini mixers! I'm also digging their festively named shades this year with the 6 minis named - Soiree I Didn't Do It, Mix And Mingle, Better Not Pout, Peppermint To Be, Son Of A Nutcracker and Don't Get Elfed Up. If you know someone that loves China Glaze or just nails in general this is the set to treat them to!

Burberry Body Tender EDT 30ml (£12.95 Fragrance Direct)
If you are looking for affordable fragrances then Fragrance Direct is the website to hit up! Amongst many other affordable scents I came across Burberry Tender which is a perfume I've owned before and loved, but remember being priced much higher than a mere £13! Not only is this a beautiful non-offensive feminine scent but the bottle and packaging are stunning and very gift giving worthy. I'm sure many would be very happy to unwrap this come Christmas Day! Side note - I found this by looking 'low-high' in the fragrance section of Fragrance Direct and was amazed at how many luxury scents they have for under £15 at the moment.
Nuxe Prodigieuse Spa Candle + 4 free samples (£7 Nuxe UK)
Nuxe was certainly not a brand I thought I'd be featuring in my under £15 gift guide but then I went and stumbled across this bargain offer on the Nuxe website and snapped it up straight away. With all orders on the Nuxe website at the moment you receive one free mini (I went for the amazing Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil) and 3 free samples, plus free delivery! So I decided to take advantage of the offer by buying the beautiful mini Nuxe Bougie Prodigieuse Candle that is heavenly scented - hard to describe but it's clean, feminine and very spa-like, I also love the festive touch of the gold stars to the glass jar. For £7 this really is a lovely gift!
4 for £15 Benefit minis + free stocking (£15 Boots)
Whilst generally browsing the Boots website last week I came across this fab little deal that I had to include it in my gift guide (yes, I buy most of my gift guide items myself!). Basically you select 4 Benefit minis of your choice (normally costing £5 each) and you receive a lovely little Benefit stocking along with them. There's a good choice of minis to select from and as you can see most of the products come boxed which is a nice touch and you can of course gift them to a friend or family member in the free stocking. This would be ideal for a teen, a secret santa or just as a little extra gift to a friend that loves Benefit products. I wish all high end makeup brands did this at Christmas!
Paul & Joe Cat Makeup Bag & Creamy Facial Foam (£13.50 ASOS)
Another brand I didn't expect to be including in my under £15 gift guide was Paul & Joe as they are known for being a little pricey when it comes to beauty products but they currently have a few exclusive sets on ASOS that are pretty affordable and all round lovely. This little set contains a nice sized makeup bag that is oh so cute (perfect for cat lovers!) and a good size 110ml of the Creamy Facial Foam which is one of their key products. Both items are just lovely and I can't believe it's only £13.50 - what a bargain. Similar Paul & Joe makeup bag & creamy facial foam here for the same price.
Beauty Extras
Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes (£14.96 Amazon)
Pretty Honest was the hot makeup book to buy last Christmas but as it's not one of those makeup books that will date I thought I'd include it in this years guide as well. For the past year this has been my go-to resource for all things makeup related that I've both read for hours at a time and also dipped in and out of. The subjects that are covered are so varied from salon etiquette to foundation and even how to get botox. This is a no nonsense book that would make an excellent read for a beauty lover... just make sure to check they don't already own it!
Simply Glamorous by Gary Cockerill (New from £14.88 Amazon)
If I can I ask for a new makeup book each Christmas then I do as there's something about receiving a hefty coffee table style read to pour over whilst eating chocolate for breakfast and spending the day in new pyjamas. This year I've asked for Lisa Eldridge's Face Paint: The Story of Makeup (£15.19 Amazon here) but if the history of makeup isn't what you are looking for then the Simply Glamorous book may just be as it's your classic makeup book full of tutorials and well shot beauty images. There is also so much content to the book and quite a few famous faces! An ideal present for someone that loves makeup or is thinking about getting into makeup artistry.
The Vintage Cosmetic Company Brush Roll (£9.95 Feel Unique or Boots)
Lastly as a little beauty extra is this handy vintage inspired brush roll that holds 12 makeup brushes and has a little zip pocket for bits and bobs such as hair grips and cotton pads. What I particularly like about this roll is that it's really well made with the wipe clean oil cloth and strong stitching around it, basically it will last. I also love the vintage floral print, I want a whole makeup bag in it now! Such a nice little extra that you could include along side another beauty gift or even fill with a few new makeup brushes!
A few more extras!
New Look Bunny Ears Slipper Boots (£12.99 ASOS)
Any kind of cosy lounge wear is gladly received by me at Christmas and so I just had to put something warm and cosy into a least one gift guide this year. That warm and cosy thing is these adorable slippers that honestly are the softest things I've ever felt... seriously your hand just sinks into them and you want to rub it against your face. Also who couldn't resist floppy bunny ears and a cute pom pom tail! ASOS have so many novelty slippers this year but these are my favourite not too silly ones that I just love.
Copper Balloon Dog Money Bank (£8.99 The Range)
Copper and rose gold homeware items are certainly having a moment right now and if you have someone to buy for that loves interiors then they may just love this playful copper balloon dog ornament that doubles up as a money box. I find The Range in general amazing for affordable homeware but this stood out to me as it's so unique and anything copper with a metallic/mirror finish is always a winner for me. Also available in silver.
Sass & Belle Be Creative Plaque (£5.62 Flamingo Gifts)
I featured a lovely Sass & Belle sign from ASOS in my last gift guide (under £5 here) and found another amazing affordable one on the Flamingo Gifts website that's quite a nice size. As you can see the plaque contains lots of lovely says on it and feels very Pinterest-worthy. It's also made of sheet metal, perfect for hanging up or leaning against other objects on a desk or shelf. I really like this for the price. Find lots of other cheap but lovely plaques and signs on Flamingo Gifts here.
