eBay Bargains #38 - 99p Jewellery Finds

Today I thought I'd mix it up a bit, ditch the makeup and talk cheap jewellery on eBay! Over the past few years I've purchased countless pieces of jewellery from eBay and for the most part have been very impressed. And when I haven't it's only 99p wasted!

Above are some of my favourite items at the moment that are all 99p with FREE p&p... which is pretty damn amazing if you ask me! I've already purchased quite a few pieces here that I will be featuring in upcoming hauls. Side note - All prices were 99p at the time of posting. Please be aware delivery does take around 15-40 days.

As a jewellery designer this post made me cringe.. 99p for jewellery? It will be terrible quality, turn your skin green, and probably give you a bad reaction from the nickel/lead content. It saddens me that people are so eager to "get a bargain" they have forgotten that quality, above all else, should be the focus of our purchases.

As someone who is currently unemployed due to ill health I actually really appreciate this post.
I don't wear jewellery regularly and change my tastes fairly frequently. Coupled with the fact I currently have very little money it seems like a no brainer that I would turn to somewhere like Primark or EBay for a little outfit accessorie rather than dropping £35+ on costume jewellery.
Obviously if I wanted a fine piece of jewellery then I would look to a high street retailer or a custom designer, but for something to quench my current penchant for pineapples, 99p is just fine for me.

Thanks Sophie, always good to read a different point of view from time to time!

I think there will always be a demand for budget items as there are mid-price and high end items, whether that's fashion, jewellery, makeup and so on. So I guess I'm just highlighting what is already out there, because my readers like low-cost products and so do I.

As for assuming (because I'm guessing you've never purchased such jewellery from eBay) that the above items will be terrible quality and turn your skin green, I can only tell you that I've never found that to be the case and also know of readers and friends that have been happy with the quality... I'd say it's of a similar standard to Primark. I really wouldn't be blogging about products like this if they gave people reactions and turned their skin green!
