Again as I always say even if you aren't interested in beauty boxes I do use all the products properly so that I can give proper mini reviews of each product!
The Jolie Box contains 5-6 deluxe samples and is priced at £12.95 including delivery. Like all the monthly beauty boxes you can cancel at anytime but it does work on a direct debit basis. You can view more info on the box here.
As you can see Jolie Box has under gone a slight makeover with the interior packaging and I must I am not missing that annoying shredded paper sizzle (yes, that is actually what it is called - I googled). The drawstring pouch is great for keeping the samples in whilst you try them out and of course can see re-use it afterwards... I'm personally thinking it could be good for the sample sachets I seem to build up, nail polishes or even for travelling with.
Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip& Cheek Stain in Forever Pink
(Full Size - worth £15.00)
Now this is one tiny sample but I love it because it's so cute and handy for travelling with! This is just a lovely pink product that looks great on the lips and blends into the cheeks well for a bit of a healthy glow - a perfect product for spring/summer. My only negative would be that the full priced product is a little pricey for what it is!
Lavera Basis Sensitive Organic Hand Cream 20ml
(Full size 75ml - worth £4.45)
I love my hand creams and I just love this - like a lot! This is so fresh smelling (aqua scented kind of) and just lovely and it's a definitely plus that it's organic. But one thing that made me so happy was the price! The 20ml sample size is a mere £1 and the full sized product is only £4.45 so I will definitely be re-purchasing this when it runs out!
Macadamia Deep Repair Masque 30ml sachet R.R.P £3.25
(Full price 250ml - £16.25)
When I saw this in the box I did do a little 'ooo' as I have heard so many good things about the Macadamia range and oh my... how right people were! The sachet was enough for two applications and this literally made my hair look and feel like I had been to the hairdressers and that is no over exaggeration -I have just never tried a hair mask as good before! As I am so in love with this product I am thinking about buying the 250ml size, though it is more than I would normally spend on a conditioner. Or at the very least a less expensive treatment from the Macadamia range in hope that it will impress me just as much! If you haven't tried the range and have over processed hair I highly recommend you try the 30ml sachet for £3.25 from Beauty bay (here with free worldwide delivery)!
(Full price for two products - £65.00)
Without rambling on too much the Kimia Facial System consists of two products - Kimia Exquisite All Natural Face Oil & Kimia Hydra-Activator. The idea is that you use the oil first massaging it into the skin and then you use the toner like mist. I feel mature or dry skin would definitely see the benefits more than myself but I still went ahead and tried it out. Now I did use less oil as I do have slightly oily skin but I really did enjoy using it and I did actually notice the 'Kimia glow' it mentioned on the card. This is ultra pricey and I don't need a product like this in my routine but never the less it was really nice to try out and I loved the spray and how much it felt like having a facial!
(Full price 500ml - £16.00)
Now this is just true love! I have been using this every night to remove my makeup since I receive the box and I love it. I love how it removes all my makeup so easily without smooshing it around my face, I love the scent, I love how it makes my skin feel fresh, I like that it is all natural and Himalaya-ish.. okay you see my point! But really this has to be the nicest makeup remover I have ever tried. So I will 100% be purchasing this once I use up the 100ml bottle. Love, love, love!
I really don't feel the need to include any negatives as this was SUCH a great box with a really lovely mix of products. Though I will say that I do dislike how the information card doesn't state any prices which I feel is really needed. Also the Taaj Micellar water which I will be buying is only available on the Joliebox site which is pretty limited! Well clearly the positives are that I have really enjoyed everything in the box which is great but I also really like that everyone roughly received the same products except for you may of received a sample of the RMK cleansing oil instead of the Kimia system sample. I definitely feel that if beauty box companies can't realistically match you to your profile or just preferences than everyone receiving the same products is the next best thing.
