High Street Wish List

autumn high street wishlist

Recently I have been finding myself wanting a lot of high street makeup so I thought I would compile a list of all the different bits I want and why... then treat myself to some of them!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation
30ml/£8.99 (on offer £5.99 - Boots)
I have been hearing so much about this for months now but just haven't got round to buying it. I do quite like Rimmel foundations, especially their Stay Matte foundation which I wear in summer. This however looks ideal for autumn as I love glowy skin. I could just re-purchase Bourjois Healthy Mix but I am currently using the Healthy Mix Serum and I fancy something new.

Barry M Croc Effect Nail Polish
 £3.99 - ASOS
I never really bought in to the crackle nail effect polish from any brand but this croc effect looks a lot neater and quite interesting. I also like that it comes in burgundy so ideal for Autumn over maybe a metallic gold nail polish or even a nude polish. I think just a more sophisticated version of crackle nails.

MUA Cream Blusher & Nail Constellation
MUA seem to be coming out with some great products at the moment and I cannot wait to try the new cream blushers at only £2.00 - here. I think cream blushers are definitely lacking on the high street so I'm really pleased to see a budget range. Also the micro nail beads £3.00 - here look really fun to try out, either as a single accent nail or carefully placed so they give a polka dot effect.

Avon  Supershock Gel Eyeliner
£3.20 - eBay
I recently purchased the Avon Liquid pen eyeliner in Brown (£2.99 - eBay) as I didn't own a brown liquid liner and I have been really pleased with it.  So I decided to look for some more Avon eye products and discovered swatches of the Avon Super Shock Eyeliners and was amazed by the prettiness of them and from all the reviews these stay put all day. Golden Fawn and Blackberry are the two I want... for now!

Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Concealer
£4.99 - Boots
After writing my Beauty Bugbears post I decided to not re-purchase my beloved YSL Touche Eclat as it just contains too little product for the price. So after a bit of internet research this was the pen style concealer than kept being compared to Touche Eclat. I need this ASAP now to try it out and see if all the review are right!

Re-purchases...

Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub
300ml/£9.50 - Boots
This is my favourite body scrub to use in the shower, just the right texture and so yummy smelling. It is on the pricey side for a high street product really but I love it so much and it does last quite a long time. This is ideal for in autumn and winter as well if you want something more comforting than fresh.

17 Wild Curls Mascara
9ml/£6.29 - Boots
The 17 Wild Curls mascara and No7 Exceptional Definition mascara are my favourite high street mascaras that I will always re-purchase. The wand for me is the perfect size and it creates a lovely fanned out lash line that looks quite feline if you add a little extra mascara to the out corners of the lashes. This also adds volume at the roots. I can't say a bad word about this mascara... however I know everyones eyelashes are different so not everyone will think this is as amazing as I do I'm sure!

What are you currently lusting after on the high street?

you will love the Wake Me Up foundation! Foundation usually cracks or peels on my skin but this one is super soft on your skin with not a hint of orange! I usually have to buy shades too light for my skin otherwise I'll go orange but this one is absolutely fab! x
Great wishlist! I well wanna try the breakfast scrub- it smells delicious! x

The Illuminating Touch concealer is brilliant - I just ran out of mine yesterday and literally went out and bought 2 to replace it, and I'm not usually very brand loyal! It's the only high street illuminator that actually works for me, and it's brilliant for disguising a bad night's sleep or a night out on the town! x

I love wake me up, i get the palest one ivory for my skin tone because i am so pale. I use a matte peach glow powder over it to lighten it even more. I love it.

your wishlist is very similar to mine! i'd recommend the Peep Show mascara by 17 over the wild curls one though, it's lovely!
Can't wait to try out the MUA Cream blushes! http://lovelaughlauren.blogspot.com x
Love the idea of using that burgundy croc effect polish over gold. I'll be trying that!

The new MUA nail constellations look so cool! A fun way of doing your nails. I really like the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation it looks great on. The only downside for me is that it doesn't last too long on my skin.
Great wishlist
Ive just ordered the MUA Constellations :)

I managed to get an MUA pink cream blush and it's great, also lasts pretty well!
The Collection 2000 illuminating concealer really is a great as everyone says it is! And I'll definitely be having a look at the cream blushes, I cannot stop using my one from Max Factor at the moment!
I'm lusting over the Models Own Wonderland collection and the new Rimmel Metal Rush polishes, but not much (right this minute anyway!) in terms of makeup.

The Avon Supershock Gel liners are amazing - the black is THE blackest liner I have ever, ever tried (and I've tried a lot!)
I'd love to know what you think of the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation.

I'm currently wanting and actually needing some mascara, concealer and eye liner so I feel a trip to Boots is on the cards, hopefully there's a 3 for 2 offer!

The soap & glory, breakfast scrub, is sooo lovely, bought my first tub a while ago and might have to repurchase soon!
