Enjoying Celebrity Fragrances

SJP Lovely

I have always viewed Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely as a spring time perfume but as I haven't used it for so long I have been really enjoying it and I'm now thinking it's an autumn perfume as well.

I'm pretty shocking at describing fragrances but if I had to describe this I would explain it as a powdery floral perfume that is light and fresh.

I used this perfume through out spring time and now have just over half still left, which is pretty good! The fragrance isn't expensive at all, costing £14.89 for 30ml from Cheap Smells here which is great as I can spray it as much as I like, though this does last quite well on clothing/scarves I have noticed.

Now when I'm looking for a new fragrance I actually make sure to smell all the celebrity fragrances first as they generally are a lot cheaper than branded scents so I would much prefer to find a celebrity perfume I like and save my pennies - though I would maybe draw the line at buying a JLS fragrance.

I have liked quite a few fragrances now from Sarah Jessica Parker such as Bloom, Covet and Lovely and also really like a few of the Harajuku Lovers perfumes by Gwen Stefani. Also back in college when I was 17/18 I use to in fact wear a Barbie perfume and actually get comments on how nice it was!

Do you go for 'celeb' perfumes? If so, let me know which you like

The Katie Price one is a good dupe of Miss Dior Cherie. It's a very girly, slightly sweet smell.

Oh that is good to know as I loved a Next perfume that was a god dupe for Miss Dior Cherie, but now the Next perfume is quite hard to get hold of. So I will be trying this out :)

I know the Next one you mean but the Katie Price one is more like the Miss Dior Cherie. I used to ask for Miss DIor cherie every Christmas but I came across the Katie Price one one day when I caught the scent of it on another girl and asked her if she was wearing Dior.|Needless to say I went straight out and bought myself a bottle from Superdrug :-)

Oh now you have convinced me! I'm going shopping on Thursday so will make it my mission to go into Superdrug to have a smell.

Also lovely to know that you enjoy my blog :)

I love this as well, but unfortunately i think it does not last very long on my skin.. I have found that Lovley is a very good dupe for Narciso Rodriguez - For Her! If you are looking for good, budget perfumes you should take a look at the Zara Perfumes!!! They have really good scents, a lot of dupes and are unbeatably cheap ;) hugs from germany, love your blog!

Yes I agree with the Narciso dupe :) Maybe try spraying Lovely onto your coat of scarf, it seems to make the scent linger for longer I have found.

Also I have heard so many good things about Zara fragrances however I don't have a store near me!

It sounds weird, but Stacey Solomon's Smile perfume is gorgeous! It's really musky and spicy. It had vetiver in it which is my favourite scent ingredient ever. Plus Smile is uber cheap, it's something like £15 for 100ml in Savers! xx

Ohhh I will have to go to Saver and have a smell of this! I love finding perfumes that I love but are really cheap. I have one from Lidl that I love!

I love Britney Spears perfumes and once my professor at uni asked me what is this wonderful smell and I had a beetroot face when I was telling her it's Britney (bitch! <- of course I omitted this part! ;) ). I also bought recently Lady Gaga's FAME and enjoy it although it seems everyone was expecting something more outrageous. I remember when Lovely came out I wasn't keen on buying but recently sampling in the Perfume Shop I tested it and I think I was crazy not liking it! It's on my Xmas wishlist now! ;) Along with Chanel Noir :) X

"Lovely" is a great celeb fragrance - smells like a lighter, day time version of Narciso Rodriguez "For Her" :) I also like Mariah's "M" and I want to get Gaga's "Fame" :)
