Today is a three nailed nail of the day! My index finger nail very sadly ripped off as I was trying to get into an annoying parcel without a pair of scissors. I say ripped off... but I'm meaning I'm only left with a small stumpy nail - poor thing!
But I thought that wouldn't stop me from doing a nail of the day with a new nail polish I have!
NYC In A New York Minute nail polish in Wild With Passion is one of NYC's 3 new nails polishes and is a perfect shade for autumn with it's purple/berry tone. The nail posts is only £1.79 which I am always impressed by, as every NYC nail polish I have tried is very fast drying and glossy.
I do enjoy wearing berry shades on my nails in autumn/fall however I do find a lot are just too dark for my liking and look almost black against my pale skin. But this shade is quite light which I really like. The nail swatch here is just two coats and no top coat, and as you can see from the reflects on the nails it is pretty glossy.
On a slightly different note I thought I'd play around with my background a little bit and add in some lights. I did get them for Christmas but I thought why not use them now!
