Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle Dupe!

Deborah_Lippmann_dupe

Last week I reviewed the Essie Mini Winter Collection (post here) and as soon as I swatched Essie Leading Lady I knew it was a dupe for Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle.

I love the look of Deborah Lippmann nail polishes and 'Happy Birthday' has been on my wishlist for a long time now, but if I am honest I would never spend £16 on a single nail polish so finding dupes for DL polishes is great!

Here are the compared nail swatches and you can find the price comparisons below...

Essie Leading Lady also on index finger - Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle on little finger.

As you can see both nail polishes are very similar! But I would actually say I prefer Essie Leading Lady as it is smoother in finish and only takes two coats, were as Razzle Dazzle needs at least 3 coats.

Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle 15ml - £18.00 from Beauty Bay here
Essie Leading Lady 13.5ml - £7.99 from Boots here
Essie Mini Winter Collection 4 x 5ml (including Leading Lady) - £11.95 from Beauty Bay here

So as you can see the Essie dupe is a saving of £10... plus in my opinion it is a nicer nail polish!

Great for anyone that received the Deborah Lippmann Mini Razzle Dazzle in a past Glossy Box and may want to re-purchase it when it runs out. Or for anyone that loves the shade but can't ever warrant spending £18 on it!

What a fantastic find! They're practically identical!

Fee, your nails are always so gorgeous- do you find they break more in the cold weather? Do you use anything to keep them strong?

Hi Jess,

Thanks for the commenr :) they are so a like aren't they!

I notice nails become more brittle in winter so I give my nails a break from nail polish a few days every month. I also use cuticle oils a lot over my nails and cuticles. So thankfully they don't break that often.

Lovely colours. I prefer the colour of Essie's Leading Lady as it has a bit more reddish tone to it where as the Razzle Dazzle looks a bit more purple.

Both quite similar but I do prefer Essie, it seems warmer. 2 coats must make it easier to remove as well. :) http://icarias.blogspot.ca
Thats a great dupe - I love finding dupes. There is nothing like saving money. £10 saving is amazing. I love Essie polishes too so will be picking up Leading Lady next time im in Boots
I have to admit that I agree I like Leading Lady better! It gives a much nicer finish. Great post xx

Beautiful Dreams
Love Essie's Leading Lady - definitely my fave of the season.
i bought this after reading your review on beyond cozy and because my razzle dazzle was running out and this looked like a good dupe but i thought the opposite! I thought razzle daz was so much more opaque (can you use that word for a glitter?) and had to use a base colour with leading lady

maybe its a blessing in disguise though because it meant i applied about four layers and then i could peel it off when i got bored and didnt have to rip my cotton wool pads to shreds scrubbing away at glitter haha
can i also just mention how satisfyingly shaped your nails are
