Seeing as I love my top coats and nail art I have been quite slow on the bandwagon with trying out the fairly new L'Oreal Confetti Top Coat. But last month I finally picked it up whilst in Tesco and couldn't be more pleased that I did as I love it!
L'Oreal Confetti Topcoat would be best described as a adult friendly non-glitter top coat. I say this as I LOVE my glitter top coat/polishes but sometimes glitter doesn't look all that chic and definitely wouldn't be 'office friendly. But this polish basically contains the same shaped pieces as a glitter top coat whilst being matte black and white in colour...
So I think even if you do have quite a professional job you could get away with this over a nude/neutral nail polish. Also as black & white are non-offensive colours this top coat literally will suit any nail polish colour you apply it over.
The top coat can be applied as a single coat, as I have done here, or you can apply a few coats to give a more opaque finish which can look really nice over nude nails. As you will probably be able to see from the bottle this is quite a packed top coat meaning apply one coat and you are good to go. Also the formula cannot be faulted in any way.
I have so far tried the Confetti top coat over quite a few nail polishes and for now I am loving it with nude and pastel shades for spring. It gives a delicate look to the nails whilst showing off the black and white pieces of the nail polish. But I know this will look amazing in summer over my favourite pink neon shade Models Own Pink Punch.
The nail polishes I used in this post were from Color Club and Kiko. The first image I used Essie Ridge Filler to white out my nails and then applied a single coat of a Color Club manicure shade that I sadly don't know the name of. Then for the bolder coral nails I used KIKO 419 Coral Red.
You can find the L'Oreal Color Riche Confetti Top Coat in all the usual places - Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Asda etc for £4.99. Though it may be hard to get hold of as it keeps selling out at the moment!
