Quite a modest Oh My Haul post for last month buys!
June was a bit of a no-spend month for me, though I did manage to pick up a few things I wanted but at some seriously bargain prices. In fact only one product in this haul was purchased at full price.
Fortunately towards the tail end of last month and this month there have been so many online sales - Beauty Bay, The Body Shop, Space NK and Organic Surge to name just a few. So I have snagged a few great bargains and eBay has also been very good to me last month as well.
NUDE Perfect Cleansing Oil 100ml
£28.00 John Lewis - here
This was my one treat to myself for the month of June and yes, some may question how a makeup remover can be seen as a treat but this is a favourite of mine that I cannot be without. For me this is a makeup remover and massage oil in one and I love to use it when I have the time to pamper myself a bit. For a first cleanse this is light but also nourishing and just feels divine with a hot flannel to remove it all.
Snowberry Soothing Facial Massage Oil and Day Cream
£10 for both from eBay! (normally over £25 each)
These were my biggest savings of the month! I absolutely love Snowberry as a brand, I have tried their serum and toner so far. So as I was after some new skincare I thought I would have a look on eBay and I was very much in luck! The strangely coloured swatch above (it doesn't tint the skin!) is actually the day cream which is for combination skin and so far my skin is loving it - just perfectly light and full of great ingredients. Totally organic and just wonderful. As for the Facial Massage Oil I haven't had the chance to try it out yet but I plan to steam my face at the weekend and give it a try before bed.
Clean & Clear Oil Control Film/Blotting Sheets
£2.99 ebay - here
I won't ramble on too much about these as you can read a full review on them which I wrote last week here. I much prefer these type of blotting sheets to the average paper ones as I find they absorb more oil and just feel nicer to use on the skin. I really don't think I will be straying away from these again, unless I spot the Kleenex version, which are apparently very similar (thanks to everyone that left me comments letting me know this).
Maybelline Express Finish in Fuchsia
£4.07 Boots (reduced to £2.00)
I probably have more than enough hot pinks in my nail polish collection but I thought one more wouldn't hurt when I spotted this on a clearance shelf in Boots. I love the Maybelline Forever Strong range of nail polishes so it will be interesting to see how the Express Finish range compares.
Models Own Angled Brush
£5.00 Boots or MO website - here
Another item I picked up on a clearance shelf at Boots (I think this was around £2.50)... really you can find some bargains if you hunt down that end clearence shelf that seems to always be hidden away. I decided to pick this up as I can never have enough angled brushes, I use them to fill in my eyebrows, to set my winged eyeliner with a black eyeshadow and to smudge eyeliner and eyeshadow under my eyes. I haven't tried the brush out yet but I can see it being ideal for around the eyes as it's fairly soft though still firm.
Organic Surge Tropical Bergamot Body Scrub
On sale £1.50 (normally £5.99) - here
Organic Surge is my go-to brand for body products in the shower. They are affordable and really nice quality. This body scrub is a great mild exfoliator to use every time you shower in place of a shower gel. The scent of this is quite odd though and actually smells like lemon and thyme chicken! However I strangely like it! I think I may have to do a round up post of all the Organic Surge products in my shower soon.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Gilded Lily
£1.00 Poundland
How amazing is this nail polish?! I'm a huge fan of Sally Hansen nail polishes especially this range and thankfully you can often pick them up in pound shops, fragrance direct and Ebay. But I seriously struck gold with this shade in Poundland as this isn't even available online and it's just such a beaut. Cannot wait to try this out for an upcoming nail post.
I also picked up a few products in The Body Shop sale which you can see here.
