I'm back again with a whole host of favourites for you. This week I've been loving simple yet effective beauty products, came across the nicest phone cases and cuddled up with a good film.
On a side note, if you're also a blogger I'd love to read any beauty/lifestyle favourites you may have as I'm obsessed with reading them at the moment!
Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil
£10.99 - Boots here
Super Facialist is possibly my favourite affordable skincare brand due to the amazing quality of the products. The Skin Renew Cleansing Oil is also one of my favourites from the entire brand and a product I've just starting re-using and loving. Much like all cleansing oils this melts away makeup and turns to a milky lotion with water, meaning the cleanser can be washed away without leaving a greasy film behind - ideal for oily skin. The results for me is a brighter complexion after cleansing my face and such a clean but soft feel to my skin. The orange scent to this is also a-mazing.
Badger Sleep Balm
£4.15 - Amazon here
When it comes to sleeping I'm unfortunately not one of those people that can fall to sleep in an instant. Generally my mind seems to not want to turn off which means I have to actively relax and wind down in order to drift off. Recently added to my toolbox of tricks to aid sleep along side a good book is Badger Sleep Balm. This simple balm can be rubbed over the temple area which releases the soft and relaxing scent of lavender and bergomot and also feels quite soothing, especially if you keep your eyes closed whilst massaging the balm in. I wouldn't say the balm knocks me to sleep but along side other things it really does help me to relax.
Sleek Contour Kit in Light
£6.49 - Boots here
The Sleek Contour Kit has to be one of Sleek's bestselling products and one I'm surprised I haven't raved about sooner. As you can see the compact contains a pigmented matte bronzing powder and an illuminating highlighting powder making this an ideal all-in-one contour kit. With a good blending brush and a little of the bronzing powder I work this under my cheekbones and up onto my temples then I sweep a little of the highlighter across the tops of my cheekbones and down my nose. A great compact whether you're trying out contouring for the first time or you're a total pro at it!
Beauty Bay The Collection Cuticle Oil
£5.00 - Beauty Bay here
When it comes to my nails I'm all about keeping them in good condition with paint-on nail treatments and oils, especially as the weather gets colder. I have more than enough cuticle oils but my latest is a good one and with a lovely lemon scent. The Beauty Bay Cuticle Oil easily applies and then can be rubbed in or left to soak, I prefer the latter if I'm sat watching TV for maximum nourishment or rubbed in after removing nail polish. A lovely product that keeps cuticles in good condition.
Cute iPhone Phone Cases
All £4.95 each - eBay seller here
For the longest time I've been after a new phone case but being overly fussy has meant I haven't found anything. But last week I struck lucky and found an eBay seller that sells so many lovely cases for both iPhone 4, 4s and 5. Above are just a few of my favourites from the huge range the seller has available with the black floral design being the case I decided to go for in the end! Cats and avocado case here, Black floral case here, Lipstick case here, Blue floral case here.
Autumn in New York DVD
£3.40 - eBay here
It's hard to call this a favourites as this is a true "weepy", but sometimes you just need one of those films to be a bit melancholy over. I won't give even the synopsis of this film away but expect a love story with tears. Also as the title suggests the film is set in New York around Fall and Christmas time with the most wonderful scenery. Just a good weekend/rainy afternoon watch.
Would love to know what films you love to watch come colder weather!
Fee xo.
