May was a good month for eBay buys! I picked up quite a few beauty related items at some bargain prices, of course more phone cases because I'm a girl obsessed right now and a pair of on trend sunnies that I'm in love with!
Side note - Some items are from China so if you do buy anything just check expected delivery times - I generally wait from 2 week to 2 months for some items but it's always worth it for the low price!
Rose Gold Pro Oval Brush
£1.49 HERE
Oval brushes right now are my thing and so of course had to pick up this lovely rose gold one. It's a pretty standard size for an oval brush as it's meant to be used as a foundation or contour brush and instead of buffed into the face more swept over it to smooth on foundation. I've used this a few times now, as you may be able to tell oops, and I can confirm that it smooths over foundation to give a flawless finish to the face. My only tip would be to dot your foundation onto your face first as the brush it so dense it will soak up all the product if you applied it directly onto it. I really do like this a lot for the price and the rose gold metallic finish is perfect. Also available in black, silver and gold
Iconic London style/dupe Oval Brushes (#3 & #6)
£1.14 each HERE
Yes, more oval style brushes... I told you I had a thing for them at the moment! I was so pleased when I came across these brushes on eBay as there are 7 different sizes and they looked amazing for the price. I initially bought two brushes but on seeing the quality of them in person I ordered two more in different shapes/sizes - no doubt I will end up with all 7! As you can see these look amazing and feel really soft to touch. I intend to use #3 for contouring possibly and #6 for under eye concealer. I'd highly recommend these!
Mineralshack Loose Eyeshadows
£3.24 each HERE
Staying with makeup I decided to try out 3 mineral loose eyeshadows from a random UK seller I found on eBay. It took quite some time to decide which shades to go for as there are 53 shades to choose from but I finally decided on Twice Your Honey (canary yellow), Divine (bronze with gold highlighters) and Canterbury Park (deep cranberry red). As to can see from the swatches above all three shades are well pigmented and shimmery. As I'm trying to be bolder with eye looks these will be perfect, in fact I've already been using Twice Your Honey on my lids with a bronze/orange smokey eye.
Tortoise Bridge Sunglasses
£1.95 HERE
Just some lovely cheap sunnies here that I randomly bought on one of my midnight eBay sprees last month. I'm sure these are designer inspired as this bridged style is very on trend at the moment. These also don't have a nose bridge which is actually really flattering on and they're comfy to wear. I'd say these are similar quality to New Look or Forever 21, so pretty good for the price.
Shakespeare Quote Phone Case (pattern 3)
99p HERE
It wouldn't be an eBay haul if I didn't have a new phone case or two! Yes, I'm still as obsessed with finding bargain phone cases and I really can't see myself stopping buying them anytime soon, they are only £1-2 after all. Really pleased with the quality of this phone case as the floral illustration is vibrant in colour and the font is sharp. This certainly looks more expensive than 99p and I've already had a few compliments on it.
Blue Flower Mandala Phone Case (pattern 3-7)
99p HERE
Another 99p find that I couldn't resist and again I'm really pleased with. This is a flexi soft case so easy to take on and off to change and with this lovely floral mandala design that's again sharp and vivid in colour. Lots of other lovely designs in the listing for all iPhone models.
20 x Metal Alligator Hair Clips
£1.45 HERE
After watching a hair tutorial from Kaushal Beauty on YouTube (here) on her amazingly easy 5 minutes curls I had to pick up some small hair clips to try it out. These are perfect for pinning up the hair as you style it and will certainly come in handy. Fast delivery and good quality for the low price.
10 x 3D Nail Art Decoration (short)
99p HERE
Lastly I picked up these detailed gold nail decorations to try out. With 10 to a set these are designed to be worn on each nail but I'd personally make them last by just using one on each hand as an accent. As you can see I tried one out by sticking it down with nail glue and within a minute it was set surprisingly well to my nail. Even though it looks good in the above image I'm really not sure as it's so bulky especially on side profile... however on a special occasion or when I go on holiday I may just try them out to jazz up my nails.
Hope you've enjoyed seeing what I've picked up from eBay recently!
