New Too Faced X Kat Von D Launch You Will Want To Snap Up Immediately

If there was every a beauty collaboration I didn't know I wanted until it happened, it would be Too Faced joining forces with Kat Von D for three amazing makeup sets!

My makeup stash contains products from both mega brands and I love them, but for very different reasons! Too Faced is all about fun, fluff and creativity whilst providing quality products. While Kat Von D is all about mastering makeup with amazing shades that really do last on the skin.

Firstly, can I just saw the attention to detail is spot on here! From the ultra cute double-sided makeup pouch, that I will frankly be storing away and keeping forever, to the choice of products and the fact they are exact versions of their full-size counterparts, only miniature!

With three new shades out of the four included, this is also one for true fans of either/both brands. I was surprised to find what I thought would be the star of the set, Candlelight glow powder, to be out-trumped by the three other products, especially when it comes to pigmentation and something that bit different shade wise. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to try a mini version of the £25.00 duo highlight to try but for me theBalm MaryLou is still my one and only. Keeping with the Too Faced side of the set, I couldn't be more pleased with the Love Flush Blush which comes in a totally exclusive shade and is pretty unique if you ask me. What appears as a bright pink blush in the pan is actually a cool-toned almost lilac pink with a stunning iridescent sheen on the cheeks. Fun and perfect for spring/summer to bring life to the face.

As for the Kat Von D lip products, again there are two new shades to enjoy, which I couldn't be more pleased with. I personally love anything miniature, the more detail the better, so to now own a miniature Studded Kiss Lipstick is just amazing to me - it's the little things, literally! The lipstick is in the usual long-lasting formula that lasts a good 4-5 hours on me, through eating and drinking and the shade is a 90's esque frosted dark nude/warmed up brown that's surprising flattering... and I normally hate frosted lipsticks with a passion! Lastly, the set contains one of Kat Von D's new liquid lipsticks in the shade XO. This super long lasting shade, I'm talking a good 8 hours, is definitely not what is seems in the tube and is in fact a very wearable semi-opaque velvet-y looking red. I'm not one to brave a deeper red lip in the fear it will smudge but as this shade is so long lasting and totally budge-proof I will be adding it to my makeup bag. Another amazing product!

Calling all eye makeup fans! This is the duo, I promise you! I've been using both products, full size, for the last 5-7 months and pair them together when I want an ultra dramatic eye; think fluttering lashes and jet black no-budge winged liner.

If you do go for this set and you're new to Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (can't stand the name, but oh well), whatever you do make sure to wipe off the excess mascara onto the tube before applying. Without this you will end up with heavy, clumpy lashes that will make any lash curl droop, but with this little trick you can perfect that volumised flutter a dream. As for the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, this stuff doesn't budge, making it ideal for all weather conditions and watery eyes. Plus the precise flexible nib one of the best I've come across for creating an on point cat eye. A nice little set here, perfect for trying out two cult products or for travel.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, this truly is the brand collab I didn't know I needed in my life. The juxtaposition of the two brands simply works and makes for an interesting and fresh new mix in a saturated beauty industry.
