Three New Budget Eye Makeup Favourites

However much I enjoy the odd high end treat, budget makeup will always be king for me. It personally brings satisfaction, quality products and a happier bank account. This isn't without a bit of research on brands and their products, as the high street can be a little hit and miss, but for the most part budget brands are better than ever... and I want to highlight that more and more!

Below I've decided to feature just three new products I've been recently using that I believe to be very much worth the small spend. These are products that have stood out to me for various reasons in my pretty huge collection of makeup/new products to get through and try out! I hope you find something here you like the look of!

Lottie AM to PM Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Sunburst - £3.99
For the past few years, not a single kohl eyeliner has grabbed my attention. This is probably to do with my love of strong black liquid liners but I think I may have got bored of kohl liner due to them being too 'meh' and bland or because interesting shades are often full of chunky glitter that just didn't look good once of the eyes. But that all changed when I swatched this stunning eyeliner and instantly wanted to try it out on my eyes and make it work without ditching my staple eyeliner flick. As I just love the finish of this gilded gold eyeliner I've taken to wearing it all over the lids, blended out with a soft pale brown in the crease. But I've also been applying it to the bottom water line (such a smooth application), due to it catching the light perfectly, making the eyes look brighter. As you can see from the above swatch in direct sun it's very much a bright golden shade however in normal lighting it looks more cool toned and much more of a champagne shade - both equally as stunning. This really is a lovely budget buy!

Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie Eyeshadow Pan - £4.95
If you read Makeup Savvy often then you will probably know that I've fallen head over heels for Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans. But after trying out their amazing foiled eyeshadows (see some of my swatches here) I didn't think I'd love anything else from them, especially a simple matte eyeshadow pan. Oh, how I was wrong! I can only describe 'Peach Smoothie' as the ultimate transitional shade you didn't know you needed, especially if you love a smokey eye. Whether you want to use it for a dramatic smokey eye or a soft day time look this is the shade that makes it all flow and blends everything together perfectly, although it doesn't look like much in the pan. I've also been enjoying using it all over the lid, blended out for a soft day look that's something a bit different. Makeup Geek eyeshadows in my option are as good as MAC, if not better, and offer some amazing staple shades. You can see my Makeup Geek eyeshadow collection for more affordable shades and formulas!

Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara - £7.99
Lastly, I wanted to include a new mascara launch which I've actually been opting for over some of my favourite mascaras recently! With a medium to large wand this does take a little bit of wiggling to get the root of my lashes but once I do I see instantly volume and lengthening to my lashes. I would say this is a borderline evening mascara as it doesn't give a full-on false lash effect but a good boost to the lashes without any clumps. Talking of no clumps, I'm pretty sure this is down to the unique design of the wand. It's also jet black and doesn't transfer or flake throughout the day. A perfect mascara if you want something dramatic but without that heavy lash look.

I'd love to know if you have any new eye makeup favourites!

Fee xo.
