4 Insanely Pigmented Yet Budget Beauty Products

I don't know about you but a highly pigment makeup product from the drugstore/high street never fail to impress me. I'm not even talking a solid opaque sweep of colour here but something that makes you 'ooo' at how bold and stunning it is.

Which is why I thought it was about time I dedicated an entire post to some of my most pigmented beauty favourites. These not only offer superb pigmentation but are spot on beauty products in their own rights, being some of my favourite products on my dressing table.

Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid Illuminating Highlighter £6.39
If like me you're a fan of light bulb cheekbones then finding that one pigmented highlighter can be makeup bag changing. I thought I'd found that in theBalm May Lou Luminizer, which is still a favourite, but due to its powder nature I find it can't be overly built up. So I made it my mission to find a liquid highlight with good pigmentation. And I did! Available in two shades, light iridescent and nude glow, Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid Illuminating Highlighter is exactly what I was looking for and more. With pale skin, I went for light iridescent, a stunning pearl toned highlight that truly gives them light bulb cheekbones I was after and can ever be built up for an even more intense effect. This really is an amazing dupe for Iconic London Illuminator Drops (RRP £30) but with a more cream formula. I just love this product so much!

Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadows £7.95
When I decided to create a custom eyeshadow palette I knew I wanted to go with Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans because not only are they affordable but I was impressed with their pigmentation after looking at swatches on all different skin tones. However, on purchasing some of the foiled eyeshadows I was just blown away at how pigmented they were. These are now my all time favourite eyeshadows due to the intense pigmentation and blendability even without being applied wet or with a primer! With Flamethrower and Untamed being my holy grail shadows and Grandstand another favourite more suitable for everyday wear. Buttery smooth and perfectly pigmented these are truly my all time favourite budget eyeshadows.

Sleek Makeup Blush £4.99
When it comes to blusher, strong pigmentation isn't necessarily what I'm looking for however if a product offers it I'm glad of it as it means a little goes a long way. Which is most likely why some of my Sleek blushers are still going strong after 5 years (don't worry they definitely aren't 'off'). These pigmentated blushers are amongst some of my favourites and offer some amazing shades. My favourite shades including Rose Gold, Pomegranate and Muscovado. If you are after good reliable blushers then I would highly recommend looking at the Sleek Blush range.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Morocco £6.00
When it comes to liquid lipsticks a lot of makeup brands offer amazing pigmentation but I think budget brands with good pigmentation and matte formulation are few and far between. Which is why when I think of pigmented lip creams I think of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams with their extensive shade range and comfortable matte formula. All shades glide over the lips and offer good opaque pigmentation although some do perform better than others. Along with some of NYX's deeper shades, Morocco stands out as one of the most pigmented lip colours I've come across. It's a wonderful red-orange that's oh so vivid and bright, suiting the palest of skin tones to the darkest. In fact, I haven't known this shade to not suit someone! Due to the matte formulation the shade can be worn through eating and drinking without the worry of smudging over your face. A standout lip shade for me!

I'm constantly on the look out for more pigmented cosmetics so if you have any budget favourites of your own then make sure to let me know about them in the comments!
