BenefitCable Car Cuties
BUY NOW £14.50
I think anyone that would appreciate a makeup gift would be thrilled to receive something from Benefit (within an age limit.... your 70-year-old gran may not be that enthusiastic). Which is why I wanted to share Benefit's cheapest gift set this year that costs only £15, making it great value for money. What's great about this set, along with the vibrant San Fransico inspired packaging (where Benefit was born!) is that the main gift within, the mini Rockateur blusher retails for £12.50 alone! So for £2.50 more, you're getting a mini Gimme Brow and a good size 7.5ml deluxe sample of The Porefessional Primer. This really would make a nice gift for a friend or a family member without having to spend too much.
Makeup Geek Take The Crown Collection - Winter Muse
BUY NOW £20.00
Each Christmas Beauty Bay come out with a range of affordable makeup bundles that for some reason don't get promoted that well so they go under the radar. But they are brilliant - perfect to give or to ask for! This year the collection is called 'Take The Crown' (see the full collection here) with gift sets including Makeup Geek, Laura Geller, Morphe and Z palette, costing between £20-£28. The set I was most drawn to was 'Winter Muse' as it predominantly contains my favourite eyeshadow brand, Makeup Geek, and includes a lovely pink glitter pouch. Included in the set are 4 eyeshadow pans to create an eye look with one of my worn Makeup Geek foil eyeshadows, Grandstand, that retails for £8.00 alone. This would be a perfect set to gift with a small Z palette/magnetic makeup palette so that your gift recipient can start their own eyeshadow collection. A really nice eyeshadow set for a true makeup lover!
Makeup Essentials Cracker by Feel Unique
BUY NOW £17.50
Next up, we have a super affordable yet pretty luxurious Christmas beauty cracker! This is not only festively packaged as a giant Christmas cracker but includes 5 beauty products, 2 of which are full size, with the rest deluxe sample sizes. The reason I was drawn to this, and I will admit I'm not often drawn to beauty crackers, was because of the brands included... I mean it contains a mini Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder and a mini mascara from By Terry - amazing products by themselves. Plus a lovely full-size eyeliner and lipstick from Revlon and Perfecting Primer from Nude By Nature, another good brand. Whether the person you gift this to knows all the brands or not I'm almost sure they would discover a few new favourites here! A really lovely gift here. Now to crack open that By Terry Mascara! You can also find a Bourjois Makeup Essentials Cracker for only £10.50 here.
Pixi Trio Hello Rose Highlighting Set
BUY NOW £20.00
Onto a nice affordable set from Pixi, a brand that's shot to fame since Caroline Hirons raved about Pixi Glow Tonic! So for me, this would be set I would gift to someone that's a fan of Glow Tonic or other Pixi products. Because I do always find gifting someone a brand they don't know is a little underwhelming for them! So if you know a Pixi fan then they will appreciate this gift. The set includes a glow-enhancing lotion, a lovely blush duo and a volume-maximising lip treatment all in a rose theme. You can also find a £20 Pixi skincare set which inside a mini Glow Tonic here!
YSL Mascara Volume Effect & Mini Rouge Pur Couture Set
BUY NOW £21.45
It's easy to think that with a £20-25 budget you can't give luxury gifts, however, surprisingly you can! This stunning gift set includes a full-size YSL Faux Cils Mascara (one of my favourite mascaras for amazing volume) along with the cutest YSL Rouge Pure Couture Lipstick mini in a stunning vivid red shade, perfect for NYE. The mascara alone retails for around £25 so this set really is incredible value!
Butter London The Gold Standard Gift Set
BUY NOW £25.00
As I'm a huge nail polish fan I had to include at least one nail polish gift set. I decided for an under £25 budget to go for luxury nail brand Butter London as their full size polishes retail for £15 each so this set is not only really good value but it means your gift recipient can try out lots of different shades. Although I'm not only keen on the packaging, it's a little tacky for Butter London, the products within make up for it. The star of the show is the full-size Butter London 24k top coat which is the most realistic gold flake nail polish I've ever tried and is just stunning. Then there's 4 mini Butter London nail polishes, 2 nudes and 2 lovely red and berry shades designed to be worn under the glitter top coat although all shades would look lovely on their own. A really nice quality nail polish set!
No7 Rose Gold Illuminated Mirror
BUY NOW £19.99
Lastly, while staying with the theme of beauty I wanted to suggest something a little different. A new makeup mirror! This is a gift that so many would appreciate as we all use a mirror to apply makeup but it's generally on the standard side so something that looks pretty and lights up could be a really nice gift. This specific mirror is exclusive to No7 at Boots and includes everything you could want from a mirror, being double sized with a good magnification, tiltable and with a dimmable illuminated feature which really does work well. I also think this wrapped up would also make a really nice bigger gift without spending too much money. A perfect gift for a sister, friend or mum! You can also find the mirror in a stunning blush pink shade here.
Let me know your favourite gift idea here and if there's anything you'd love to receive!
I think my own favourite gift here has to be the Beauty Bay Take The Crown set purely because I'm sure a fan of Makeup Geek eyeshadows. But I do love the illuminated rose gold mirror!
Fee xo.
