Discover The Voted Most Popular Glossier Products + Giveaway

Last week I did something that I don't often do... I wrote an entirely negative product review. And to make it worse it was a product from my current favourite beauty brands, Glossier! You can find out what the product was and read  my review here.

So today I thought I'd redeem myself to Glossier, I'm joking of course, and feature four of their most popular products as voted by their customers! I also thought it would be nice to hold a giveaway of either a Glossier Phase 1 Set or a Phase 2 Set - you get to decide! Find the giveaway entry section to the bottom of this blog post!

GLOSSIER'S VOTED MOST POPULAR PRODUCTS

Milky Jelly Cleanser (£15)
Since its launch this has been one talked about product and so I can definitely understand why this got voted one of Glossier most popular products. I've said it before and I will say it again, I think this is quite a simple cleanser (which is a good thing) to be used either first thing in the morning on bare skin or as a second cleanse after removing makeup with an oil or balm. So if you do see any negative reviews then it could be that the reviewer is trying to remove their makeup with this product - something it won't be doing a thorough job of.

So why do I love its simplicity? Because a face wash doesn't need to be anything complex, but correct when it comes to being pH balanced and SLS-free. It does contain natural fragrance in the form of rose water which I personally don't mind but it may be a tad drying for dry skin types. I basically love the jelly formula, how it lightly lathers and how it makes my skin feel fresh and clean. One to go for if you haven't yet found the one when it goes to a face wash. Cloud Paint (£15)
Described as the most user-friendly blush in existence these cream blushes are something that have't been in my makeup stash very long. But on the times I have used Cloud Paint (I own Beam) it really has been a lovely natural hint of colour to my cheeks. Think a light easy to use cream that blends with very little effort to give a sheer yet buildable flush to the cheeks.

I think Cloud Paints really are ideal for those no-makeup makeup days and without a doubt will come into their own in spring/summer. A lovely product that I will be collecting more of for sure.

Generation G (£14)
Finding out that Generation G was one of Glossier's most loved product was a bit of a surprise to me. My reason for this is because I really think it's a mediocre product Yes, it's nice that a brand has come out with a matte tint finish however for £14 I really was expecting something a bit more impressive. From the very cheap feeling plastic packaging to the barely-there tint this was a product that just didn't excite me in any way.

However, I do think if I went for a darker shade such as Jam instead of Cake I think I would have been more impressed, as the berry shade does offer better pigmentation.

Boy Brow (£14)
Lastly, the brow gel and tamer that is Boy Brow! For me, this is a better version of Benefit Gimme Brow as it has the added benefit of thickening the brows while also filling them in and taming them. The creamy wax formula is also clump-free and really does give that full bushier brow effect that frames the face and really is quite a youthful look. The staying power also for something that really doesn't make the brow hairs feel crispy is impressive!

I'm running low on everything from my first Phase 1 set so this would be perfect timing! I agree with you about the packaging of the Generation G Lipsticks though - two of mine have broken, but I tweeted Glossier and they've very kindly offered to send replacements! Good customer service but I still think the packaging could be better for the price! x

My two favourite things a nice cold glass of milk and jelly for a sweet hit combined into a cleanser that's definitely the one for me. Thank you.
