Beauty boxes have become a normal addition to the beauty industry and while I love some, the majority don't seem worth the money, generally including international brands you've never heard of or products that aren't that lust-worthy! So when a beauty box comes along, especially a no-subscription needed box, that contains some amazing premium products I'm there with my bank card!
And let me tell you the beauty box I've just picked up is the best one I've EVER come across (think Charlotte Tilbury & MAC?!) - you don't want to miss it!
The mega beauty box that has got me beyond excited is the Latest in Beauty Style Beauty Awards Box and is a non-subscription one-off beauty box that you can actually pick the products for and costs only £25 for 6 products (£3.95 p&p). The value of the six products I went for retails for £155, giving a massive saving of £130?! Side note - Any products with the Style Awards stamp are full size!
Brands featured in the Style Beauty Awards Box 2018 - Dr Sebagh, Jessica, Yes To, Weleda, Charlotte Tilbury, Bourjois, Sally Hansen, Suqqu, Nailberry, Real Techniques, Trish McEvoy, This Works, Essie, The Body Shop, Lancome, plus many more!
Below are the products I choose to give you an idea of what your own beauty box could look like! However as this is an in-demand box you can expect a few items to be out of stock.... but Latest In Beauty has hinted that there will be re-stocks every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the next few weeks so if you really want an out of stock item make sure to keep checking on those days. The other thing to note is that it is a one box per person policy... but of course, we all know there are ways to get around this, which is how I have a 2nd box on its way to me as I type!
MAC Liptensity Lipstick in Clouds in My Coffee (worth £18)
Never did I think I would come across a beauty box with a full-size MAC product! So, of course, I had to make it one of my six items. I already love the Liptensity lipstick range as the packaging is sleeker and the pigmentation is outstanding, so I was pleased to add Clouds in My Coffee to my collection. The shade is a warm beige in a satin finish and really does look stunning on. It also comes with the signature MAC vanilla scent and is really long lasting on the lips I've found.
Suqqu Framing Liquid Eyebrow Pen in Brown (worth £22)
Suqqu isn't a makeup brand I've tried before but knowing Lisa Eldridge is a fan made me add this full-size liquid eyebrow pen to my beauty box. While the pigmentation is fairly light it's beyond natural and allows you to add brush stroke-like hairs to your brows to add fullness and definition. It's also a stay-put formula that is both water and oil resistant meaning this literally doesn't budge all day!
Trish McEvoy Fast-Track Bronzing Stick (worth £31)
Trish McEvoy is another brand I haven't ever tried but as I'd yet to try any kind of bronzer/contour stick I thought I'd give the Fast-Track Bronzing Stick a go! The cream to powder stick on first swatch really impressed me as it's such a stunning shade that I instantly thought would also work well on the eyes. Then on looking up the product I realised that it is in fact a multi-purpose product for both the eyes and face. Much like the other two products above, this has great staying power and is beyond easy to draw on and blend out. I love this product!
Charlotte Tilbury Unisex Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser (worth £35)
When I first discovered this beauty box all the Charlotte Tilbury products were out of stock, so I decided to wait until the suspected re-stock (every Fri, Sat & Sun afternoon) and managed to get hold of the Unisex Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser which I was so excited about! Without this item the beauty box would have still been amazing but for me, a box containing Charlotte Tilbury is the creme de la creme!
While the white cream to tint formula is a little too dark for my pale skin just now, I know that come summer when I fake tan this will be a makeup bag essential. As well as providing a healthy glow the tinted moisturiser also diffuses imperfections in the skin and just gives an instant radiant glow.
The Body Shop Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask (worth £17)
I'm a huge fan of The Body Shop Face Masks, owning three already, so I decided to go for this full-size Japanese Matcha Tea mask to try out. I have yet to try it out but having tested it on the back of my hand I can say it's a lovely creamy mask that contains exfoliating seeds and definitely smells of tea. I'm really looking forward to giving it a go!
Vita Liberata Sunless Glow Body Blur in Latte (worth £29.99)
Lastly, I decided to go with a wash-off self-tanning product that I can use on my arms and legs in summer. However, due to our mini Spring heatwave I've already got to try it out on my chest and arms and love the silky easy-to-apply formula. I also really like that it diffuses imperfections and is a natural-looking tint that doesn't look orange once on. I wouldn't have purchased this full-price, however, I'm beyond pleased to have picked it up in this £25 beauty box!
As you can see this is an amazing value for money beauty box that I highly recommend if you love beauty and fancy treating yourself!
