In celebration of World Vegan Month this month I wanted to share and highlight just how far the vegan beauty industry has come, making the swap and maintenance of being vegan far easier than ever before.
Past years had seen a compromise on aesthetically pleasing vegan makeup products along with limited ranges but now with amazing brands such as the one I have to share with you today, it's clear to see vegan beauty is booming!

First up, I wanted to share two products that make an ideal makeup base pairing as they're created to work together and last on the skin all day. The first being Emani Perfect 10 Primer Serum which prepares the skin for the most comfortable and flawless foundation application, utilizing 10 different organic extracts. It's also a base primer that not only hydrated but aims to balance out excess oils in the skin to keep blemish at bay and pores less visible.
On using the primer for several weeks under both the Emani foundation and other foundations in my collection I've found it a joy to use, especially as it gives my skin an extra boost of hydration while keeping it from producing too much oil throughout the day - the balance of ingredient here are spot on. I also really appreciate that on application it makes my skin feel instantly smoother but with a slight grip, making all foundations I've tried with it last well without any oil breaking through.
As for the similar looking Emani Hydrawear 12hr Liquid Foundation (available in 8 shades), this could possibly be my favourite product from the entire range as it not only gives the perfect amount of coverage but it simply looks untraceable yet flawless on the skin. The dewy even coverage while beyond natural looking diminishes the appearance of pores, fine lines and redness, even appearing to smooth out skin texture. While the formula is slightly runny it applies a dream with simply the fingers, never requiring more than two pumps or clinging to dry patches or areas such as the sides of the nose.
If you have been wanting a 100% vegan foundation to fall in love with that you will reach for daily then this truly is amazing - I'm so so pleased to have come across such a great no-makeup feel base!
Other base products include a Deluxe Creme Foundation, Flawless Matte Foundation, HD Corrective Concealer, Perfecting Crushed Foundation and Bamboo Setting Powder.
Next, the two products that got me excited about Emani... I mean aren't they both just a thing of beauty with their speckled pigments?
The larger of the two compacts, Feeling Loved Highlighter (that shade name!), is what I'd describe as a face illuminator as the fine lightweight powder can be swept over the entire face to refract the light and defuse any imperfections in the skin. The universal shade is also flattering to all skin tones and while adding shimmer to the skin it really is undetectable yet glowy giving such a lovely overall radiance to the skin.
I've also found it to be a great base shade on the eyelids and even used on a clean fluffy blending brush to blend eyeshadow shades seamlessly together.
Simply a lovely product to finish your foundation with you adding an extra glowy and flawless dimension to the skin.
The other wonderful speckled product I've been enjoying is one of Emani's Mosaic Blushers (available in 4 shades) in 'Saint-Tropez', which I'd describe as soft warm coral with white gold flecks. With no two alike each intricate pattern not only is a joy to open up and use but offers the perfect balance of pigmentation and luminosity to the cheeks.
Finding my own fair skin suits peach/coral tones I've been loving this particular shade as it brightens up my complexion and gives the loveliest radiant glow to my cheeks and cheekbones. I can imagine this would be such a stunning shade for the summer months (I will be taking it on holiday with me in a weeks time!) but is perfect for autum with the wonderful crisp but sunny days when this blush can really pop. I'd actually be keen to collect all 4 of the shades from this stunning Mosaic blush range.
It's also worth noting that all Emani compacts come with a built-in mirror, making them perfect for in your handbag or for travel.
Onto eyes now with a good size yet travel-friendly eyeshadow quad. While the Illusion Quad Eyeshadow range consists of five different compacts that are all smokey in tone, I simply had to go for the most neutral warm tones 'Venice Beach' that I knew I'd get a lot of use from... and I have! Using all four shades on my eyes but the finding the darkest shade great as an eyeliner at the base of my eyelashes for a full lash effect and both the brown and black mixed together and used to fill in my brows
But of course, the two shimmer shades in this quad have seen a lot of use as the tones to both are just perfect, with the gold being warm toned but not too deep and the light champagne shade working well as both an all over lid colour and brow highlight.
As for the brown shade, although it looks a bit nondescript in the palette it looks amazing worked into the crease of a naked lid or paired with the golden eyeshadow for a lovely everyday smokey eye. Basically, I love when I adore all the shades in an eyeshadow palette equally and can't fault the formula one bit! Love!
Last but not least I really want to try out at least one Emani lip products as Emani have quite an extensive range. Picking what to go for was tricky with so much choice but I decided I had to give one of the Prismatic Lipsticks a try, especially as I've never come across two lipstick shades in one before, even though it makes so much sense with the nature of how lipstick is applied!
Described as 1 lipstick worn 4 ways as each colour can be worn alone, combined to create a 3rd shade or by applying the darker shade to bottom lip and lighter to top lip this really is a genius product.
From the 6 shades available in the Prismatic lipstick range, I went for 'Celestial' (another shade name I love!) as it's both a pink and nude perfect for everyday wear.
While I loved trying out different possibilities and combinations with this lipstick I found layering and combining the two shades found me the most perfect nude for my skin colour so although I've been using both the nude and pick shades separately I feel like I have a third shade option when I combine the two colours on my lips. Again this is another dream beauty product that highlights just how far the vegan makeup industry has come!

Overall I've enjoyed using all the products I've shared here but for me, both the foundation and highlighter (okay, and the blush!) really have sold this brand to me in a huge way. I promise if you try out these products it will be love at first use!
