Did you wonder what this was? You and me, both! You may have seen individual makeup sponge holders but this is for multiple sponges, which makes sense especially as most of us own quite a few. The little gold geometric basket design holds a few sponges to help them dry and also to keep them from falling on the floor. A cheap but nice addition to your dressing table.

Not everyone has the room for plastic makeup storage so I thought I would include this lovely personalised makeup bag come wash bag. Hessian style pouches always look nicer than plastic ones but I really love the gold touch here along with the fact it can be personalised with your own name. Really very lovely - a lovely gift idea!
DIY Gold Makeup Storage Ideas
Finally, I wanted to share a simple DIY/Hack idea for creating your own gold makeup storage and saving some money! I'm talking gold spray paint! As you can below, spraying stationery storage gold gives pretty great results - but why not try it with metal storage items to house makeup!For example, an inexpensive black mesh letter holder (found here for only £2.99) would look amazing sprayed gold and used as a makeup palette organiser. It can also work for drawer units as well, such as this inexpensive LENNART White Drawer Unit for £10, again this would look amazing sprayed gold. Other household items that work well are mesh pen posts as makeup brush holders and a wire cutlery tray sprayed and used a pretty drawer divider.
