If you are here then you most likely own makeup products you want to keep neat and tidy and in some kind of order. The best way to do this, of course, is with a makeup organizer; from small units to makeup towers that can hold a huge amount it's the ideal makeup storage solution.
But what if you are after something more than plain acrylic makeup storage or you are simply over the rose gold trend and want to update the storage you have. Well, hopefully, I have just the finds for you with a round-up of the best gold makeup organizers around right now, plus a great DIY hack at the end! This post contains affiliate links.
Gold Makeup Palette Organiser £10.52
First up, a storage solution for the many eyeshadow palettes you most likely own! I don't know about you, but I struggle to know how to store any kind of makeup palette so something like this is perfect. Acrylic storage, in general, is great as it really does last well and works with all decors, but I like the gold touch here. A really handy organiser to have if you own a lot of makeup palettes.Mirrored Glass Jewellery Tray £7 Primark in-store
On a recent trip to Primark I spotted this amazing gold jewellery tray that I really couldn't believe was only £7. You don't always think of quality when it comes to Primark but this is a well-made piece that would look amazing on any dressing table or bathroom shelf. Perfect for jewellery, makeup or skincare.Gold 3-Tier Storage Caddy £34.95
If like me you have a lot of skincare or simply a lot of primers and setting sprays type bottles then you may want to invest in a tiered caddy. I own a simple wooden one but this gold chrome caddy is just dreamy and would look chic in a bedroom. This is a great way to store products by category using the different tiers and really does keep everything neat and organiser. I couldn't be without mine for keeping my everyday skincare products organised and to hand.Mirrored Tiered Makeup Organiser £10.59
Another stunning dressing table organiser here that could house both makeup products and jewellery. The gold mirrored finish gives the combined holder and drawer unit a chic look and is perfect if you don't love how acrylic storage looks. For the price, it looks amazing!Wire Makeup Brush Holder £6.99
Surprisingly makeup brush holder and pen pots can be pricey, well I say pricey...£8 each on average, but if you are a makeup junkie you are likely to own a lot of brushes, which means you will need quite a few holders. But I thankfully managed to find this double-tiered makeup brush holder in a stunning gold hexagon design. Super affordable and perfect for any makeup brush hoarder!Large Acrylic 5-Tier Makeup Organizer £39.99
If you are looking to invest in a large makeup organizer or simply what to update what you have then this could be the ultimate makeup storage solution. The 5-tier display features 4 large acrylic drawers, plus a makeup organiser to the top that can be removed and used separately. The unit is also framed with a gold structure that really does give it an edge to all other acrylic makeup organizers. While it is an investment (it does come with a 2-year warranty) this makeup storage unit could be all you need. Did you wonder what this was? You and me, both! You may have seen individual makeup sponge holders but this is for multiple sponges, which makes sense especially as most of us own quite a few. The little gold geometric basket design holds a few sponges to help them dry and also to keep them from falling on the floor. A cheap but nice addition to your dressing table.Personalised Makeup Bag £7.99
Not everyone has the room for plastic makeup storage so I thought I would include this lovely personalised makeup bag come wash bag. Hessian style pouches always look nicer than plastic ones but I really love the gold touch here along with the fact it can be personalised with your own name. Really very lovely - a lovely gift idea!DIY Gold Makeup Storage Ideas
Finally, I wanted to share a simple DIY/Hack idea for creating your own gold makeup storage and saving some money! I'm talking gold spray paint! As you can below, spraying stationery storage gold gives pretty great results - but why not try it with metal storage items to house makeup! For example, an inexpensive black mesh letter holder (found here for only £2.99) would look amazing sprayed gold and used as a makeup palette organiser. It can also work for drawer units as well, such as this inexpensive LENNART White Drawer Unit for £10, again this would look amazing sprayed gold. Other household items that work well are mesh pen posts as makeup brush holders and a wire cutlery tray sprayed and used a pretty drawer divider.
