Whether you will be making the most of the British weather from the comfort of your garden this year or have endless adventures booked, Summer calls for extra provisions. From adding to your summer wardrobe to protecting your lips, hair and skin from heatwave rays I decided it was time to round-up a few summer essentials that are too much of a bargain to miss out on!
As will all my eBay posts I only recommended trusted sellers and items with free delivery! I also always include products I've purchased myself so where I have I will let you know. Also as I love putting my eBay posts together please feel free to let me know if you pick anything up or any themes you would like to see in future.
Bow Espadrille Beach Sandals (£7.79)
Combining the current relaxed bow trend with a kind of natural vibe I came across these stunning slip-on sandals; perfect for with jeans, dresses or wearing to the beach. There's a choice of three different colours but my personal favourite has to be these mustard ones as they're just something different and feel quite Zara-esque. These are also a bargain at under £8 delivered!
Tropical Leaf Round Beach Towel Blanket (£8.52)
Beach towel come picnic blanket come cover-up for when the sun goes in. Whatever you want to call this circular microfibre towel it's pretty handy to have come summertime and it's much fancier and bigger than a standard towel. Available in two different designs and measuring 150cm this is really an item I think I need in my life, especially for keeping in the car for impromptu picnics.
H2O Fruit Infused Water Bottle (£5.89)
A summer must-have here for me with a water bottle I've used for the past year and is still going strong! I think by now we are all for using reusable water bottles and this heavy duty bottle is not only a good size but has an extra section for infusing fruit. I've taken this bottle with me everywhere and can't recommend it enough for the gym, dog walks and hot summer days.
Oversized Round Clear Sunglasses (£3.99)
eBay is awash with cheap sunglasses and I for one have owned many a bargain pair in my time. The above design is one of my current favourites and I love them in every colour-way and pattern they come in. For under £4 these are a bargain!
Osmo Intensive Deep Repair Hair Mask (£4.99)
While winter months can dry out the hair I think it's safe to say that the sun can do exactly the same. So I personally make sure to I use a good hair mask once a week. My budget hair mask of choice is one by Osmo, a brand I actually first came across on eBay and have since continued to pick up. The creamy nourishing vanilla-scented deep conditioner comes in various sizes, from a small travel tub to a huge pot, and is extremely affordable. It also leaves the hair silky smooth and frizz-free.
Large Woven Straw Bag (£8.99)
Large straw bags are everywhere right now and I for one love them! I love how simple and chic they are and I also love the size of them. Perfect for carrying around everyday junk you don't need but feel you must have on you, along with being the perfect size for the beach and taking on a picnic in the park.
Fashion Headbands (£2.99)
Headbands are back on trend and while I haven't picked one up (yet) there are plenty of styles I've been loving the look of on eBay. This listing is for a huge range of headbands costing under £3 and they look really great quality. Perfect for accessorising with while keeping your hair off your hair in the heat.
Aloe Vera After Sun Gel (£2.99)
With every good intention not to get burnt, there will always be times that it happened and when it does, there's aloe vera gel. It's cheap yet effective, doing the job of removing the heat and prickly feeling from sunburnt skin but it's good at keeping sun damaged skin hydrated without feeling greasy. I've used this one from Malibu for year and it simply does the job.
Tropical Leaf Makeup Bags (£1.30 each)
I don't know about you but come summer I use multiple bags, an everyday one, a shopping tote, one for picnics/the park, so I like to have a small makeup bag that holds essentials in so I can simply drop it into whichever bag I'm using. These tropical design makeup bags are not only cute but are such a steal at £1-£1.30 each and perfect for keeping everything together. Also great for holiday packaging to keep smaller items organised and safe.
EOS Crystal Lip Balm (£6.51)
Lip balm is without a doubt a summer essential but I thought I would include the lip balm I've been lusting over recently that I'm sure I will give in and buy (I already own 6+ EOS lip balms, hence holding back buying another one!). Yes, I know, the clear 'crystal' aspect is a gimmick but it's simply visually pleasing and that's enough of a reason for me! EOS balms are also some of the best and are easy to apply without adding germs into the mix.
10 x Spiral Hair Bands (£2.49)
Lastly, another personal summer favourite. These are basically unbranded invisibobble-type hair ties that last much longer than regular hair ties and don't leave harsh kinks in the hair. They come in all different colours however I personally like the clear ones as they don't stand out. I also like to opt for these thicker plastic stretchy bands as they feel more durable and don't stretch out of shape as quickly. But if they do, simply pop them in boiling hot water and they will shrink back to size in seconds! Another amazing bargain, especially as you receive 10 hair ties for your money!
