I don't know about you but I don't know much about makeup brand, CYO. I've spotted the stand in Boots several times and now and again I will see their products mentioned in magazines but with the lack of coverage online I've never really thought to try out them out.
That was until recently when I realised Boots had massively reduced all CYO products - I'm talking up to 70% off! Sadly, I don't know why this is, my guess is Boots are maybe discontinuing stocking the brand (I could be wrong!), but it's cause to celebrate - who doesn't love cheap makeup!
So today I thought I'd share with you what I picked up in the huge sale (side note: everything is only £1.00-£4.00), the best of the sale and where you can snag these bargains from!
SHOP THE CYO SALE
Plus spend £5 on CYO products and receive a free Two Tone Twist Ombre Lipstick worth £5!
So while most of the above CYO products are sold out online you may still be able to find them in-store at Boots. I also decided to try out a few base products and out of everything I've been loving the CYO Lifeproof Long Lasting Foundation (only £2.25 instead of £7.50) which literally stays all day and I can't believe I hadn't tried it sooner. Out of the other products I ordered I've loved the CYO Crush On Metallic Eyeshadow (only £1.36 instead of £4.50) which was a product I noticed is on sale in-store at Boots. Not only do these look incredible but the shimmer is perfect and in some lovely jewel-toned shades.
BEST OF CYO SALE - ONLINE
Sweeping Statement Metallic Eye Stick (Was £4.50, Now £2.25)
With countless eye crayons already in my makeup collection, I decided to give these a miss. But if you love easy to apply makeup them these look amazing! Still available in 3 different shades, all with great reviews and at such a bargain price!
No Shine Zone Matte Foundation (Was £6, Now £1.80)
If the CYO Lifeproof Longlasting Foundation I picked up is anything to go by then this could be a total gem of a product! While shades are now limited due to bargain price if you can find a match then this should certainly be added to your basket.
Night Feed Overnight Lip Primer (Was £4.00, Now £2.00)
If like me, you have constantly dry feeling lips then a product like this for less than the price of a coffee is worth giving a try. This overlight lip treatment not only has good reviews but could make for good upcoming colder months everyday lip balm.
Matte Lot of Good Matte Lipstick (Was 4.00, Now £2.00)
For the price, these lipsticks look too good to miss out on. Still available in 9 different shades all of which look super pigmented with a true matte finish.
Two Clever by Half Lipstick (Was £5.50, Now £2.75)
This was an item I picked up in the shade 'Free Pass' which is a lovely blush pink tone. The product contains both a lip liner and lipstick crayon, both of which are soft and glide over the lips. I particularly like the lipstick crayon end as it's super smooth feeling and gives good even colour to the lips.
If you are looking to pick up a few new makeup bits then I'd definitely check out the CYO either online or in-store as the brand has some great quality products as the lowest you will ever get them for.
If you do make an order or pick up a few things in-store let me know what you got!
