It's that time again, where I pull together what I like to think are the best last-minute beauty gifts for Christmas 2019! I like to keep my yearly Christmas Gift Guide posts realistic and I personally think £20 and under Christmas beauty gifts are just that. These are the kind of gifts that while still on a budget don't look cheap and are from well-respected brands.
I hope this gives some Christmas shopping inspiration or simply an idea of what to ask for this year or to mark down to snap up in the post-Christmas sales.

Christmas Makeup Gifts
While prefered shades, tones and even formulas are personal I think giving the gift of makeup to a beauty-loving friend can be pretty fool-proof as long as you stay always from foundations and concealers. Christmas makeup gift sets from popular brands don't have to cost a fortune which you can hopefully see with this little lot, below!Soap & Glory
It wouldn't be a Christmas gift guide if I didn't mention Soap & Glory. They have some of the best gifts around especially if you are on a budget, in fact, all eight S&G makeup gift sets I counted this Christmas cost between £6-£20 which is pretty amazing. The cheapest gift from the S&G Christmas 2019 range is their Happy Holid-Eyes (£6) set and while the two products within the tree decoration-style packaging are dinky they are perfect for the holiday season. The Crazy Sex Kohl in Smoulder is a lovely easy-to-apply smudgy eyeliner and the Eye Cream in Gold Outside is a wonderful budge-proof and buildable true gold liquid eyeshadow that I already can't wait to wear over my lids.
The other beauty gift that caught my eye is the Soap & Glory Brow Sweet Kit (£16) which contains four full-size brow products worth £29 and comes in a nice metal tin. This truly is everything you need to tame and style the brows - with Archery Brow Fibre Gel, Archery Brow Defining Crayon & Setting Gel, Arch De Triumph Shaping & Highlighting Crayon, plus a pair of slanted tweezers. Simply a really affordable set for teens and brow lovers alike!
Kat Von D
Another amazing Christmas makeup gift that has jumped out at me this year is this amazing value Kat Von D Everlasting Love Miniature Liquid Lipstick Set (£15.00). While the 1ml each liquid lipsticks are the definition of miniature the set allows your gift recipient to try out six different 'Everlasting' liquid lipstick shades which retail at £17 each full-size. Plus it's worth noting the formulas are beyond pigmented so only a little is required per application thus making these ultra dinky products last quite a long time regardless of size! LOVE this set!
Too Faced
Lastly, for European/international readers I really wanted to share a bargain duo gift set from Too Faced at Sephora. The bargain set is just 12 euros and includes a Deluxe Peach Kiss Lipstick in Sex on the Peach and Deluxe Peach Lip Balm. As you can see the lipstick is stunningly embossed with little peaches and the lip balm packaging is also pretty dreamy. It's a shame the set isn't available in the UK as it's such amazing value and comes with a great saving but if do visit a Sephora store before Christmas you should keep your eyes peeled for it!
Skincare Christmas Gifts
Pampering gift sets are in abundance at Christmas time because while they obviously make for a lovely gift, winter is the perfect time to receive these kinds of products. I'd personally recommend avoiding more generic body care sets from the likes of Dove and Nivea and opt for one of the below that are still very much on a budget priced from only £10.00EOS
EOS are known for their sphere-shaped lip balms and for good reason as they come in countless flavours and designs, moisturising the lips well. But this Christmas EOS has not only launched a limited Peppermint Cream lip balm with candy cane packaging but two budget-friendly gift sets. Both sets retail for only £10 and include a full-size lip balm, hand cream and body lotion which is simply amazing value as an EOS lip balm alone costs £7.
The more festive of the two gift sets is the EOS Limited Edition Sweet Mint Super Soft Shea Trio, which includes the limited edition Peppermint Cream lip balm along with two sweet mint-scented products that really are lovely. I picked up this set for myself as it felt very festive and really is a total steal. But for a less festive-themed gift, there is the EOS Limited Edition Cherry Blossom Super Soft Shea Trio, which also looks lovely. You really can't go wrong with either gift set!
Sanctuary Spa
Each year I both give and receive Sanctuary Spa gift sets as they make wonderful gifts for any age. This year while a lot of lovely budget gifts come in their original scent, such as the Sanctuary Spa Dainty Duo which is only £5, I'm here for their sustainably packaged sets that can be repurposed especially in their newer scent; White Lily & Damask Rose. From gift sets coming in decorative tins to glass jars, it's clear to see Sanctuary Spa have thought about limiting excessive waste and how packaging can be reused. My favourite budget-friendly example of this and a gift that I know many would enjoy receiving is the Sanctuary Spa Rosey Hand Duo (£12.50), a full-size hand wash and lotion duo in the stunning new scent that is housed in a rose gold keepsake caddy. A really lovely gift!
Soap & Glory
Talking of sustainable packaging. S&G have also upped their game yet again this year with gift sets packaging in tins, caddies and makeup bags. My favourite budget set for Soap & Glory body care range is Collec-Tin set which comes in two scents the Original Pink Collection Tin and the Sugar Crush Collection Tin both priced at a very affordable £10. Each set contains 4 mini products along with either a sheet mask or eye mask depending on the set you go for. Plus your gift recipient also has the benefit of re-purposing the fairly large metal lidded caddy that could have a wide range of practical uses; from storing bath bombs to using as a cookie jar. A really good substantial gift set here for only £10.
Alpha-H
As for premium skincare gift sets on a budget, I managed to find a bit of a gem with the Alpha-H Liquid Gold Holiday With Love Kit (£20). This is one money-saving set, containing Liquid Gold 24 Hour Moisture Repair Cream (30ml) and Liquid Gold with Glycolic Acid (50ml). Not only are these two amazing products for resurfacing the skin but they both have quite the saving with the repair cream at 50ml costing £51 and the 50ml liquid gold retailing for £20. This is truly a great way to treat someone that loves skincare without overspending!
Christmas Nail Gifts
Lastly, I wanted to touch upon nail gifts as a limited edition set from the likes of OPI, Essie or China Glaze can be really lovely to receive. Below I've included a recent gift set I picked up at a totally bargain price!China Glaze
Miniature nail polishes make so much sense to me as when has anyone ever used up a single bottle of nail polish, ever?! This is why each Christmas I picked up a China Glaze nail polish set with their smaller 3.6ml bottles. This Christmas there is the amazing China Glaze On The Nice List (£5.91) that contains 3 different glitter nail polishes - On The Nice List (a confetti red), A Grouchy New Year (green sequin glitter) and T is for Tinsel (sparkling silver glitter with small black sequins). Each nail polish can be worn alone or over a festive base colour of your choosing with only the best quality you would expect from China Glaze. This little set would make a great Secret Santa or stocking filler type gift for a friend.
Hope you have found this Christmas budget beauty gift guide helpful even if it's just to know what to ask Santa for!
Fee xo.
